The faculty of the School have several collaborative projects with various International bodies.


These mainly include:

  • The Ford Foundation supported ‘Rural Livelihoods Internship’ scheme

  • Sussex ESRC- DTC for an International PhD Partnering Scheme in Development Studies

  • German Development Institute (Bonn), BMZ & DiE

  • Watson Institute of International Studies

  • Department of Political Science at Brown University (USA)

  • G20 Korea Global Leaders Fellowship program of KDI School of Public Policy and Management (Seoul)

  • German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation & Development,

  • French Government funded collaborative research on ‘Urban National Parks in Emerging Countries and Cities:  Cape Town, Rio de Janeiro, Nairobi, and Mumbai’, anchored by Département de Géographie, Directeur du laboratoire GECKO, Université de Paris Ouest-Nanterre-La Defense, France

  • The UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) funded  research on ‘Marginalized Populations, Social Mobilization and Development’,  Lead Institutions- University of Edinburgh and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) sponsored long-term collaborative study on Building Knowledge Base on Population Ageing in India.
